I'm not sure how to fix it, and not sure if a fix has been found yet..
First: The signature being aligned to the bottom of the posts without there being funky gaps on the left side of the legacy (where the avatar and user data is). I've found two fixes, one that only looks well if a signature is small (so count it working for me out, since I use image signatures, hehe), and the second that would put the signature UNDER the <tr> of messages, so there'd still be funky gaps. If this has been fixed, please tell me how.. I've added all sorts of different tables to try and get the signature to valign correctly, but only found I could do it if I set the post tables to be 345 pixels tall, but then it looks goofy for people who don't have all their profile info filled out.
Second: Since my forum is a fixed width (750 wide), when viewing a private message, if the user has a particularly long signature, it'll stretch the page out. I figured for private messages, there's really no need to see a signature anyway. Is there a way you can disable signatures for private messages? Not sure which templatebit it'd be in.
Thanks so much! :)
