linkware

i know that quite a few of the hacks are linkware (i.e. theirs something in one of the templates linking back to the hackers site) but i'm wondering if we're allowed to release linkware here. i've made a few things for my site , and wouldn't mind releasing em if i can stipulate that any site using said images place a link back to my site in their footers.

For image packs or complete styles, I don't see that as an unreasonable request. For simple template edits, linkbacks should not be required.

For any of my styles i usualy just have a small lil link at the bottom, :) nothing else.

If I've done any template modifications for someone I usually put <!--peterska2--> around the bits I've changed so that they can be found easy enough. I haven't released any styles or anything big really yet though so I haven't thought about this. I'd probably just make my copyright text in the footer be a link to my site but that would be all.
