Well i took alook at Natch's hover mod. I personaly didn't like that fact that it add it too the forumdisplay. And i didn't like that fact that my cursur didn't change showing you that it is a link. Sorry im just very picky. Anyways i made my own and only takes 1 min to install.
What does it do?
This mod will add a 'Hover' affect on your forumhome only, and will change your cursur as it's a link. Should only take less then a minute to install
Very small mod, but usefull. :)
Enjoy!

i couldn't add a screenshot. Keep saying "Invalid Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster (Brad@synergy-core.net)"
Should look into that.

Are you referring to the width of your moderators collum?

Works ok, it does however add considerable lag to the homepage, this mod for VB2 was better as it didn't do that. I think this is a VB3 problem, I didn't mean it to sound like it was the coders fault ghehe...

If installed correctly then you shoudnt have a problem with the moderators collumn. This mod does not touch the mods collum. I would suggest makeing a new post one of the help forums.

I'll see what i can do about that as im trying to kill some of my load time on my board myself.

Is this due to category spacing and not this mod?

just a FYI: the reason I don't change the cursor is that it's not Valid CSS ...

Might wanna update instructions so it works on subforums also:
In template forumhome_forumbit_level1_post Find:
<td class="alt1Active" colspan="2" align="$stylevar[left]" id="f$forum[forumid]">
and replace with:
<td class="alt1Active" colspan="2" align="$stylevar[left]" id="f$forum[forumid]" style="cursor:hand;" onmouseover="this.className='alt2Active';" onmouseout="this.className='alt1Active';" onclick="window.location.href='forumdisplay.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$forum[forumid]';">
Not sure if you meant it to also have this effect, but I could be wrong since it is called "Forumhome Hover" ;)

Not at this time, i don't have 56k so i don't know how bad it's affecting users. Go to my site for a demo.

For anyone interested in using this on the Forumdisplay page.
Expand "Threadbit Templates and open template: "threadbit" and find:
<td class="alt1Active" id="t$thread[threadid]" title="$thread[preview]">
replace with
<td class="alt1Active" id="t$thread[threadid]" title="$thread[preview]" style="cursor:hand;" onmouseover="this.className='alt2Active';" onmouseout="this.className='alt1Active';" onclick="window.location.href='showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]t=$thread[threadid]';">

Hi,
I have the problem that there is a high CPU load reported after I added this hack. Can anyone verify this ? I get idle about 6% load, but when I move the mouse over the blocks and they are changing the color, the load gets up to 25 - 40% !
