I've been using this on my test server for quite some time. I like it as well, but IIRC, Moz users will not see rounded corners, they will be squared as well as the coloring of the username and wrapper will be dependant on WinXP theme of user's pc for IE users (most viewers of most forums).
if u want to set color of the fieldset, define its border color via CSS. That will resolve that issue.
You can also style the feildset to your hearts content with css :), it is not limited to border colors

Yes, agreed. There are many possibilities. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

I was wondering when people were going to notice that.
<if condition="$show['username']">
<fieldset><legend><phrase 1="$username">$vbphrase[originally_posted_by_x]</phrase></legend><table><tr><td>
$message
</td></tr>
</table></fieldset><br>
<else />
<fieldset>
<legend>$vbphrase[quote]:</legend>
<table><tr><td> $message
</td></tr>
</table></fieldset><br>
</if>

am i missing something here.... why the need to wrap the $message in a single-celled table? looks fine on mine without it.
[edit]
apparently Safari adds some padding where IE doesn't. to compensate, just change to
<fieldset style="padding: 5px;">
and drop the single-celled table all-together
produces basically the same effect, but better code. :)

Alrighty, so what would be the CSS code to change the color and where would I stick that? I've tried a couple different things and I can't figure it out.

I'm made some alteration and have updated the text file to work with both names and no names when quoting. I know it's already been done, but I cleaned it up a smidge.
Full kudos to .LuTioN. for the initial code.

Great mod... thanks, have installed on my board and it really improves the look.
I would also be interested in where go to change the border colour.

An excellent hack, just one query, how do you change the colour of the border and background inside the quote, is that possible?
Thnx!
