Could someone PLEASE redesign the nav up top??

It reminds me too much of a certain other forum software.... Could somebody redesign it and make it look good? I tried to do it myself but I couldn't think of a good way to make it look good :(

Have any of you redesigned it already? Maybe I can get some ideas off of you guys.

I'm not exactly asking for any of you to CREATE a whole new navigation bar, but perhaps just to give me an idea and I'll create it (and release it here on vBt)
