Forums made for the owners and order's of the new 2004 Pontiac GTO.

I've messed with quite a few things on the site and have found out that vbb3RC1 did not really work as well cross-platform. I have fixed most of the problems but I hear RC2 tries to fix some of it. I think I'll run into more problems so I hope to just wait for the gold release.

I plan on making a new header too ... Just most of my time went for setting up the board and making it work. I found a few nice button sets (vbb3 collapse buttons) on this site and use them.

The board has been running since August 2003 with vbb2.3.2

Thanks! ... I definatly had plans to do such. There are so few cars out so its hard to get the angle photo I want. I have quite a few features that I wanted to have links to up in the header.

looks cool.
a couple suggestions...
if you take a look at the space between your left hand ads and the actual forum on various pages, you'll notice it isn't always the same. on index, it's nice and small. on forumdisplay, it's wider and doesn't look as good, then in showthread, the header (with the thread options) is slightly larger than the actual postbit.

Looks good. I'm trying to place banners on the side of my site too. Did you do the banners or is there a hack around to do it? Thanks for any info you can give me. I'm still new to this..

I hacked it in myself with a tiny bit of help from the guy that runs www.ls1tech.com

I got them in there myself, he did the randomness

Got any tips? (Grin) I'm not a programmer. Does this take a lot of code to do? And could you tell me what files I need to edit to do it. I may have to hire it out...

Well.......

mostly it is just in the templates finding a good place to start it, then end it... and make sure all the other templates work in between. The randomness is a query with a RAND order

If anyone sees a automotive specific registry/gallery let me know ... Only thing that is making me wish I had different board software. I would rather not hack one together ---- it aint gonna be pretty.
