When will vBt upgrade to Gamma?

I was wondering when this site would be upgrading to Gamma???

The search feature in gamma makes life so much easier, and since it is a "sister" site, I thought the upgrade would be made. :)

If this has been addressed or posted somewhere else, I apologize. :)

When vBulletin comes back up and I have time to download and install the software :). vBulletin has been down for me the past 48+ hours now and I can't download anything.

Been down for me 3 days too. It's weird, I think some people can still access it. Although, it may have been up and down for all of us. But just haven't come online on the right times to check if that is happening.

And only SD can upgrade us.not only that but now that the templates have been finalised the site should get it's portal back and also split the vb3 mods, they're all clumped up and not good, just makes stuff harder to find, also bring back the install button, you're a sister site of vb.org, i'm sure they wouldn't mind sharing their portal and a few of their hacks.

being that this site is about templates and with vb3 templates have become such a powerful resource, this place should be buzzing, should be busier than vb.org without a doubt.

i hope it all gets sorted out soon, another admin, more staff, mod modifications and a buzz :)

I have that and all other issues on mental note, they will be resolved ASAP.

I have been in contact with the administrators of vBulletin.org and vBT will get access to the install script, some extra features to our licensing system and some other nifty features that vB.org has on their forum. :)

I need to get in contact with SD just to tell him that when he's ready to upgrade that this code will have to be retrieved from the vB.org admins.

Sabert we are working on it. i just completed the style that we will be using for vBT when it gets upgraded, Jon has just proposed and im sure he is working hard.

to preform an upgrade on a vB sister site there is more than just upload files and run installer

you need to make several chagnes for the license system and anything else like an install system.

I see a outdated copy of the software, beyound that everything else works as it should, and I see no reason why you could not use this site for its intented purpose.

Our lone admin is busy and we can't really do anything about that, the mods around here do there jobs well and im not just saying that because I happen to be one. Im not as active on the support forums as I used to be but i do spend alot of my time here daily doing moderating dutys.

We have alot planned for the board when it is upgraded to RC 3/4/gold/whenever it gets done, we are planning on breaking the modification forums down into sub-forums for example. And have been planning this for along time (even before someone requested it). The extra's we had on vB 2 will also be brought back.

But again we can not do this until the board is upgraded, and until Jon finds time the board will stay the way it is.
