Of coruse you could always hide the option with a <if> tag, but they could still deleate the threads if they knew the correct url. So hacking is probbly the best way to go at it.

Its a new feture in vB 3, there is no such thing in vB 2. Trust me, if there was you would see <if> and <else /> tags all over the default vB 2 templates ;)
