Does anyone else think the vb3 getinfo is ugly?

I think it's a little more organised then the vb2. But hey, you can always change it.

I think it looks a little too similar to the Final Fantasy Republic Forums (http://forums.ffrepublic.com/)' old getinfo...and in a way, like their new one.

Nice, although calling it "vB3" is technically not true because we still don't know what actual vB3 is going to look like; all we see is the temporary beta set.

Well, vB3's new getinfo is like that. So who's copying who? :p

What I'm saying is FFR had that style first. ;) I'm not saying vB stole it, I'm just noting that they are similar.

Well all you have to do is read the attachment and copy paste the whole getinfo coding he has there into yours the getinfo template is located under user info display.

Very little difference to the vB3 one, just need to edit the placement of those few things. Do you know HTML, or tables etc.?
(The vBT one is the same as this mod, the other needs modification.)

i installed this. i like it :)
one question tho...
the url below points to my profile on my forums.
http://forum.hel-razor.com/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=1
under "The Wise One's Contact Details", the private message field, the link is aligned to the bottomand makes that individual table taller than the rest. how can i fix this?
sorry if this is a simple fix, but i am new to this stuff :embarressed:
thanks in advance for the help :)

you have a <br> right next to where it has the "Send The Wise One a Private Message!", just remove the <br> right after that link and it will work perfectly

thanks for the suggestion but there is no break tag or anything else of that nature there. that was one of the first things i checked for. i have attached my userinfo template to this post.

In User Info Display Templates [expand]
--getinfo_sendpm [edit] [revert to original] [view original]
Remove the <br> tag in the first line
<br><a href="private.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newmessage&userid=$userinfo[userid]">Send $userinfo[username] a Private Message!</a>
That is going to fix your problem ;)
