Footer always on bottom

I have noticed with the default version of the footer template, that it does not always stay on the bottom of the page. If you have a page with not so much infomation then the footer just go right below your info. How can i get it so the footer is always on the bottom.

yea, but i think what he means is when there's a masive gap from the bottom nto the copyright in the footer
the only way I know of fixing this, is making an invisible table that's vertically align to the bottom (valign="bottom")
