Hello, I just spent the last hour here searching for info on my problem, but couldn't find anything. If a solution exists in another thread, please post the link...
Anyhow, My forum members are not happy with the way source code is quoated in my forum. Take a quick look at:
http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3288
There are three problems:
1. Seems to be a <BR> which is causing double spacing. I want source code to be single space. Does fixing this problem require a hack? I've tried various CSS as you can see in the thread (see link) but if I fix the double-space problem, I introduce a new problem --> indentation is killed.
2. Users love smilies but not in source code. They can click on disable smilies but then they lose smilies outside of the source code box. Anyway to have my cake and eat it too?
3. Try as I might, I can't get the source code font to appear as Courier (mono-space). I checked my html/css/vbb code and it is set to Courier, but it seems like text in source code boxes are showing up as Arial.
Again, sorry if I have asked about subjects that were covered in the past. I really can't find the answers and it is driving me nuts.
Cheers
