-Some of those graphics are really nice.
-Nav images are a bit plain, as everything else has alot of detail in it.
-Would look better if you centered the category name in the category image. (Looks like it's aligned to the bottom)
-Don't like where the profile etc. buttons are placed on the postbit.

Too much grey IMO. I say put some green or red or something. Aren't a lot of snakes colorful like that?

Maybe you could find a snakeskin background for the category background or something. Cool forum though, and interesting topic. I can't believe how many people want to talk about reptiles!
