Hi, i would like to post my 1st board design.
Am a newbie in boards and portal design , but I belive that i have done somthing good for me as a biganner

There is more than 60 hacks installed there, thanks to vb.org for the hacks and also thnx for c-prompt and saintdog for teaching how to modify the templates in the vb.org

Kind of hard not to notice that it's Arabic... :)

Since I don't have the required character sets, I can't really get the full effect of the text, though even if I did I don't think I'd understand it. :confused: But it also prevented me from checking out too much of the site - I didn't really know what I was clicking on.

I notice that it looks like the forum is displayed right to left instead of left to right - is Arabic text read right to left?

I also noticed that the colors are very lush and rich - moreso than what might be popular for an anglo board, but seems to fit well with the color schemes I've seen of decor from the mid-east. Graphics are very nice.

Participation is fantastic - there were approx. 300 users when I stopped over to check it out - that's a level that not many see. Congrats!

I did just find my way into a thread - I notice that the user profile on the right is huge! Most of the posts were only 1-3 lines of text, but the profile was so big that you had to scroll quite a ways down just to get to the next post. That seems a little big for my tastes. But in general, the graphics, signature lines, etc seem pretty nice.

Thanks for passing by, I realy appriciate it.
Yes the arabic text reads right to left and it use windows-1256 characters.
Regarding the colors, since this forum talkes about "Alain Sports Club" so I used to follow the team color which you can see in my board, but in jeneral the arabs used to thix kind of color mixing.

Regarding the user info in the posts, as u notice that the topo is very big , well its the logo if the club so I made a square and make the top of it looks like the club logo, to have the feel, I will try to find a solution for it maybe by adding a hack.

I think the colors are a bit fruity :p

Also it doesn't fit in 800x600 without scrolling. And kill the marquee. I can't stand animated anything on a page.

Well I have noticed this , and am working on redesiging the banner.The marquee is the last 10 posts in the board, more over my client asked for it.
