Ugh, vB Portal. Use something like vBHomeLite or vBIndex. Alot less queries and faster loading time.

yeah I can go with vbhome and be ok I do have a gallery I want to implement into vbulletin but not sure how yet because I want it all template based.

If you have simple PHP knowledge it's easy to create a page which is vB template based. More into at vB.org for hacking infomation. :)
