I made the default style nice and simple, nothing too bright or flashy, a lot of our members seem to like it. We also have darker styles (PlayStation 2, Gothic 3.0) to suit members/visitors with a taste for darker styles.

I'm just looking for feedback on the colors, etc.

Nice colors, but whats with the categories being bunched up there?

And I suggest you upgrade to 2.2.9 too.

I bunched the categories up because I have about 250-300 boards, so it'd be a nice long scroll to reach the bottom of, err... the "Web-Games" genre.

And I haven't upgraded yet because of the modifications, the precious modifications, the HUMANITY!

Pfft, I think my co-admins and I decided to wait until vB3 came.

I have specific boards dedicated to specific games, consoles, genres, and several off-topic forums for polls, rants, flames, etc.

Thats not necessery. I'm sure your members can't cover ALL of these boards. You should start off small and build up as more activity comes your way.
