Why not upgrade to 2.2.9? There are lots of security holes before 2.2.9 and TONS in 2.2.1.

hey what about the board

It has a lot of my mods so it rocks :p

Seriously though, I've never been a fan of white-on-black designs. They just look unprofessional and on some monitors hard to read. Also you're missing some <normalfont>s and <smallfont>s

i dont mean to be a pain in the arse, but my guess is that you might be using a pirated version...cause NOBODY stays with 2.2.1 when 2.2.8 and 2.2.9 are out.

im not accusing, just inquiring;)

Cypher: that's not true...I just finished hacking a 2.2.8 and I'm not going to upgrade for another year...by then 3.1.5 or something will be out, and I will still be using 2.2.8 :p

well...i see where you are coming from.

as i said...no accusations. I probably wont upgrade to 3 yet due to hacks and stuff...but we will see.

2.2.9 and 2.2.1 is a big security difference.

2.2.8 and 3.1.5 (or w/e) is a COMPLETELY differnet script. vb3 is much different than 2, so thats not really a problem...if you see what i mean

This is 2.2.1, you have 2.2.8 with ALOT less security problems.

vBulletin 3 is and looks crap. But back to the topic, I quite like it TMG1. Good work!

Erm, there was no discussion on vb3 Kikyourt. o_O

Also THE VB3 STYLE SET ISN'T WHAT YOU'RE SEEING. The final style set is in development.

And also, you can customize it just as much as the vb2 styles. So those days should be good. :)

Yup and definately agreed. :)

I dont know about what you guys think of vB3, but i personally think its starting to become a total bloatware, a different script will mean faster db processing? i dont think so.. it really depends on the server and its configs.

But then again, i could be totally bumed out :) .heh.

but d00d.. i just saw your vbb, personally i dont like blue with a black BG.. and especially highliter type blue.. it just throws people of the board man.

Okay:

You people are not smart to say that vB3 is bloatware. You're basing your unfounded assumptions on the uncompleted, temporary style set. Virtually every page is much faster and uses far fewer queries.

Don't judge vB3 until it is released in at least beta form and you can actually access the admin CP and play around with it.
