This modification will force members to use cookies. By default vBulletin allows members to use or not use them. This can cause problems with people behind the same proxy getting logged in as each other when they share links.

Old acounts will have to be updated if they are not using cookies, it will auto update them when they edit their options, you can also do this yourself via the Admin cp.

You have a slight grammatical error here:

The $bbtitle forums uses cookies, A cookie is small file..

should be

The $bbtitle forums uses cookies. A cookie is small file..

Does Googlebot know how to handle cookies? I've been yearning to eliminate the sessionhash but Googlebot is my chum :(

Umm, no. Actually, your correction makes it even more wrong. However, it should be: "A cookie is a small file... etc."

However, there are even more errors... so to make it sound even better... do this: "The $bbtitle forums use cookies--a small file on your computer that will keep you from having to login each time you visit."

Cheers! :D
