View Full Version : [Release] Style Template
When I upload a new vBulletin version, I always have a default vbulletin.style with the default colors etc. on my PC. Well, in the attached file below, there is this default style but with a difference...
This style has all the general mods you need to start you off. It has a redesigned forumhome too. All you need to do to make it unique is to change the color from the default ones, add a few images here and there if you wanted.

The general mods include:
frontpage.txt - xiphoid
Enlarged Thread Title.txt - SaintDog
These .txt files include these mods:
Catagory spacing
Redesigned frontpage
Enlarged thread title
Basic postbit customization
Quick Reply
User friendly edits (such as, using such things as {tablebordercolor} etc.)
So, I hope you enjoy!

[Edit]
In the Header find:
-----------------------------------------------
<!-- logo and buttons --> and highlight all until <!-- toplinks -->
-----------------------------------------------
And replace that with:
-----------------------------------------------
<!-- logo and buttons -->
<center>
<table bgcolor=""#FFFFFF" background="images/mainbg.gif"" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border: 1px solid #6597D9" align="center">
<tr>
<td>
<table border="0" width="750" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td valign="top" align="left" background="images/menu_background.gif"><a href="index.php?s=$session[sessionhash]"><img src="images/vBulletin_logo.gif" border="0" alt="$bbtitle"></a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="bottom" align="right" nowrap background="images/menu_background.gif">
<!-- toplinks -->
-----------------------------------------------
The above will make the buttons appear under the title image, aligned to the right.

Would this classify as a Style? Since it includes all that stuff.

When I get home I will do a screenshot. I cant do one now as I am in school. All it does is help ppl who dont want to add the mods themselves, where as this default style has them in. Thats all it is. Nothing special.

Well They'd have to have a default style at first. :p
Lets hope they do.

-_- They upload this .style file over thier default style and then do color edits etc. And @ TMG1 - Why not make your own or something, looking at your posts count it shows that you are a bit of a n00b.

If you dont like the style then dont use it, comments like that are really not needed. :rolleyes:
And were you calling me a n00b?
