Hey,

Author: ffdcsite & DD
Description: This neat little mod will allow you to have quick access to a calculator when post a new thread/reply. It is only a little template mod, but it does require you to upload 2 files.
Preview:Next post.

(Its something a thought of when I need to make a few math calculations and didnt have a calculator handy:D)

EDIT: Added 'Changing the Colours' instruction file. Found one mistake but I have fixed that.

Nice, the popup is a little too "white" though. Maybe we can adjust the colors to the way we choose?

Yes, you can do that. I will make an instruction file for you:)

Thanks for telling me Tony:)

True, but this mod was really for when you were posting something and needed to work something out, and if you are a lazy git like me, you wont want to search through all the program files:p:(:)

It's in the start menu, quite easy to find. :p

:pI know that:) But that requires too much effort - for me anyway:D

So you should :D

Anyway, has anyone had any problems with the instructions for changing the colours? ^.-

On Windows go to Start>Run and type 'calc'

no searching. ;)

Well, it does like like a nice bit of code but kind of unneccesary. unless you run an accounting website or something :p

now, what would really be impressive is if you could make a scientific calc to implement or otherwise add features not found on a standard calculator. Maybe add in a few common equations and formulas allowing the users to fill in some of the variables and have it solve for 'x' or whatever.

this could be a nice addition to an architecture or 3-d CAD/animation type forum.

I see it as a good jumping off point to something alot bigger and better but as it is, it's not worth implementing.
