replacing moderators column w/latest post

just bought vB 2.2.7 and i was interested in replacing the annoying moderators column on my forum w/something more useful like a url with the most recent post display in the column instead.

is there a hack which already exists for this which i can be referred to??

Well there is a hack that removes the mod column so what your left with is just the forum title/discription post number thread number and last poster on the front page in that order.

There's a mod dropdown too. Good if you don't want names showing straightaway.
