Alot I think are self explanatory but people want them to re-assure what they think. Just respect that instead of trying to show how dumb people are.
Read the template release rules, it specifically says to put in a screenshot. So respect what the admin wants to get the most out of every modification.
Thank you.

Sorry about that, I was kiddin. You were right, and then again, im the git:)
Anyway, enough spam. I still cant get the default to be black, Although I havent tried this on my board yet(will do now) You could put;
<font color="#{whatevercolouryouwant}"> right before
<font color="#$post[field*]">$post[username]</font>
EDIT: I have tried this and it has failed.:( I didnt think it wold work in the first place
I suppose that could over write the profile field until a user changes the colour.
Just a though, Ill go try it out:)
Anyone else have any idea's

If you think thats spam, you've seen worse.
It doesn't work because it needs to be inside the font tag of those codes. Otherwise it won't overwrite the other font tags.

I know. Ill try what you said now.

How do I allow only certain groups to change their color?
Or if I can not do that how do I make my Mods and Admins Name a different color?

Don't think thats possible via a Template modification.

Best I can think of is editing thier name manuelly, which I dont think works. Methinks Tony is right, try vB.org

Then you would have to remove it from the UserCP so they couldn't change it.
]to show white color default run this query
UPDATE userfield SET field5='FFFFFF' WHERE field5=''
if field 5 is your color usernames field :p
sorry for my english...

Yes, add <b> </b> around the places that use them. heh
There may be a different way, but that is how I would do it.

Well I didnt copy your install file. However these 2 mods are very alike. I have never seen that one before. Sorry:(
Edit: Lost;
Have you changed the field number to the field number at your forums? (I.E, if the number is 6(sixth user profile field, run this query:
UPDATE userfield SET field6='FFFFFF' WHERE field6=''
Simple:)

You can run queries from phpmyadmin.
There is a tutorial of it somewhere. Let me find it for you.
