Description - This hack will not only bring your PM, Who's Online, and Birthday category up but will place the users avatar
in a table next to the pm info.

No previous hacks need to be installed for this one.

Nice work, I always thought showing the hack on forumhome needed file hacking.

But that would work with only uploaded avatars??? Otherwise you'd have to edit Index.php which is a hack :p

Not sure what you mean. It works with avs people upload and the ones provided by the forum. Not sure about linked avs but I think it would show those too.

Edit just tried and it also works when a mod uploads it for you. I'll try a linked AV in a sec but I'm sure it will work.

Have you tried the hack to confirm it?

No, but I made an almost similar one to it, it wont show avatars that have been uploaded to root dir/images/avatars/. It will only show ones the members themselves have used. I've seen 2 cases where this has happened. Or maybe im wrong....again:)

Bah the only AVs that dont show up are the ones that are linked but the ones that are provided(uploaded to Avatar in cpanel ones), self uploaded, and moderator uploaded all work fine. It also displays a no avatar picked image if you have no AV.

I'll work on the linked AV thing right now.

Ok I was entering the link in http://www.http://www.then url which of course could make it not work. So I have no problems with it now.

Maybe this works for someone else, but it doesn't for me.
Since when was $avatarimage a standard variable for vB? If that was a variable, why would anyone need to hack it to get the aatar to show up?

Maybe I am missing something here....

I think the $ avatarimage variable only works for Administrators and Moderators, if I'm not mistaken. I tried using this variable instead of the Welcome Panel hack and found I couldn't use it. :(

Try creating a new account that's a normal user and you can test it for yourself. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

"$ avatarimage variable only works for Administrators and Moderators"
I am an administrator of my own forum, and it did not work....

Then how come it worked there?

Are you using Welcome Panel code turdboy at all?

No. I hae no previous hacks installed. He says none are needed, and I have none. But his variable does not work. I will check with the people at vbulletin.com and ask them personally if that variable exists since people here seem to believe it does (but it doesn't work for me).

Darnit, I am TELLING you I installed this template mod, and it did nothing.

Hmm I think another admin might have installed it but applied it to another template. I'll have to ask but this is a possibility. Sorry for those who became frustrated because of this.

I'll ask the admin now.

See if you did have it installed it would work for you because you have that code in index.php. So check for that turdey. Otherwise there's something wrong. O_O
