Thx!

I always say, the simpler the better.

Hmm... It's not bringing up my custom fields..

I see you've got the "$customfields_required" statement in the hack, but it doesn't seem to be working..

Here is a screenshot of before:

and after:

(The custom fields are Vehicle, Location, Occupation, and Where)

Thanks!!!

i know this is not directly related to the hack, but is there a way where the users can skip over the agreement?

that would make it real simple =D

Exactly the mod I was looking for :)

*clicks install*

just one note.

you have forgotten this phrase:

Please enter a valid email address. You can choose to hide it below in the preferences section.

when there is no more any section below...

so what I did was that I replaced this phrase with:

Please enter a valid email address. You can set it to be hidden, later, via your user cp

thanx for the mod, mate. I hope it will encourage people to register, without giving them the impression tha they give too much personal info away...

and a small bug (?)

after applying the mod, the default settings - of every new user - are converted to off.

so - when a new user registers, cookies/pms/emails from admins/etc are all set by default to OFF

I don't like this at all. Not all users have the idea to go fix their user cp settings after they register...

is there any way to fix this?

thanx

Does it works on 2.2.8 - are the bugs fixed?

Easliy fixed. I can do it later today... All it needs are your default settings set up as hidden form fields. That way, settings are passed on, the user doesn't have to edit them, and they're set to the proper defaults!

Any update to this? Any quick registration modifications I've seen from various people ALL end up turning off as default certain options you definatly don't want off!

So if you can get this working, I'll give you a cookie!

this is cool,

I was thinking what would make this even cooler is if you added GD image verifcation to this :P

otherwise very cool :)
