hey, i noticed on these boards when you post a link it automatically goes into this text:

Anyone know how to do that? Thanks! :)

Actually, that is not automatic ;) - mashby just does that for the links he shows off.

You may be able to do it, but something like this would require hacking and would need to be addressed at vBulletin.org.

if you quote the post(without actually submitting the thread) you see what code he uses.

You could make a new URL in customvB codes, to something like:
[<a href="{param}">{option}</a>]

ffdcsite, you ought to post that as a template mod (hmm, or maybe we need a new category for these types of things), since I think people could use it.

I picked up the link style from DeviantArt.com (http://www.deviantart.com) and just began using it all over the place. I really like it. Glad you like it too. :)
