Nice, was looking for that for my first attempt at a theme.
How would you add that to say the main header for the thread displays after you browse into a category?

Update to add special category line to forumdisplay

1/ Login to your admin cp
2/ Goto Templates > Modify > [expand list] > Forum Display Templates > forumdisplay_threadslist [edit]

3/ Then in "forumdisplay_threadslist" find:

$announcement

4/ Above it add this:


<tr>
<td colspan="8" bgcolor="{catlinecolor}"></td>
</tr>


5/ Thats it!

Ok added to my forums now the problem I am getting is that it is red instead of the color I specified..
Any ideas on why its doing this?

As you can see the line is suppose to be #003F71 which would be the blue background page instead its coming out red..
Please let me know something on this as its a pretty good modification to my forums!!

Ok nm...I just changed the {catlinecolor} to the specific color and deleted this hack

making the line thicker... hmmm... to be honest im not sure... you could try the "height= " attribute in the <td> tag ... not too sure about that tho...

This is a sweet little mod when you neeed to break up dark colors or hint to other colors to give design options dealing with colors. Thanx
