I've seen this modification done on this forum and on vBulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org) and I wanted to make the modification to my site. After successfully applying the mod, I figured I'd post what I did here for others to use if they like.

Please note: I take NO credit for this mod. I simply copied what appeared to be done on this forum on on vBulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org). Credit is given to SaintDog since it was his site that gave me the idea. :)

What this mod does is place the "Search User's Posts" icon next to the username instead of the bottom of each post. If you see the magnifying glass icon to the left of my name, you see what I mean.

This has already been submitted somewhere else...

Well, if someone could be so kind as to point out where, that'd be great. :)

I don't appear to have the ability to delete my own posts, so if I've duplicated someone's effort, hopefully the admins will kill this thread.

Edit: Nevermind, read the attachment wrong, works just fine using this method :).

is there a hack required for this to work, because it doesn't work for me :(

No, it shouldn't require a hack. It's simply a link and a graphic is all.

What kind of problems are you having?

This was my first template mod that I ever posted and I forgot to mention that you have to supply your own graphic. Sorry about that. :)
