Which tables ... HTML tables or mySQL tables?
HTML => look at the code ;)
Database => phpMyAdmin, or mysql commandline client if you got SSH access like hardcore SQL :D

As I don't know what exactly you are talking about I can only assume you are trying to install a hack and the instructions say you should alter table forum, eg. the instructions shows queries you should execute.
To do so go into phpMyAdmin if installed or ACP / Maintenance / Execute SQL Query.

alright I am back tracking because I followed the directions up to that point it told me to find something and then delete it and I did and now I am getting a error message
how well do you know this stuff?
