Add Avatar Type

I wanna add a new vatar type because right now I get this error

" The uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again. "

Tha file im trying to upload is a .swf so how can I add that as a valid avtar file type?

It would require quite a lengthy hack because .swf files are displayed entirely differently from images files when processed with HTML. I'm not saying that it can't be done, it just won't be as simple as you think it will be.

ohh aaight. ..thanks for the info bro.....the reason being is because I want to add flash avatars to my forum & yes I do understand the security threats
