My New Roating Banners System

This is going to be released for vBulletin 3.0.7 and 3.5.0. I'm acually almost finished with it, but i wanted to get some feedback to see if i maybe left some features out and what i should add. Heres what i have so far.

Installed Features:

Tracks Views

-Which can be seen inside the Admin Control Panel

Tracks Clicks

-Which can be seen inside the Admin Control Panel

Tracks which members clicks and how many clicks for each banner

-Which can be seen inside the Admin Control Panel

Admin Control Panel Features

Can Add/Edit/Delete Banner Ads
Can Enable/Disable any banner
Disable Banner After "X" Days
Disable Banner After "X" Views
Disable Banner After "X" Clicks

Misc Features

Banner Owner can view his/her stats through /bannerstats.php/
They do not have to be registered to see the stats
Only banner owner can see the stats, and they can't see others
Banner owner can see, Clicks, Views, and when the banner will become disabled. It will say one of the following:

-Your banner will expire in 3 days
-Your banner will expire after 100 clicks. You have 74 Clicks remaining. (unique visitors only)
-Your banner will expire after 1000 views. You have 457 views remaining.




I thnk thats everything. Its late so i might have forgotton something. Please tell me what you think and what i could improve? I know that the expire banner after X views is abit much, but you never know who might use it i guess.

i'd love to see a banner system compatible with dynamic text-based ads, like Google AdSense, Kanoodle, etc.. any chance of getting that worked into this?

The release for vBulletin v3.5.0 Beta 2 will prolly be later tonight or tomorrow night at the very latest. The I'll have to recode it for vBulletin 3.0.7 which won't be that hard to do and will be released a few days after...

Just an update. The final release for this is expected to be released Monday, August 15, 2005 for vB 3.5.0 RC2.

Unforchenetly it seems there will be one small code changes that has to be done manually. This is to show the links on the left of your admincp. At the moment there is hook avalible to add links inside the admincp.

Updated Features:
The only thing I've added was a block for code to be added. This block can be used for IFRAMES, FLASH Ads, and text ads. The only downside in using this is it's not possible to track clicks with flash ads. The only way is to add the URL manually inside your flash ads to the user can be redirected to the proper site.

I've released a hack called vB Forum Sponsors. That hack allows you to add banners for each forum you have. Using that and this hack will allow you to keep track of clicks.

If you have anymore input or suggestions that can be added to the final release, please contact me in this thread or via private message.
