Maybe the beta 3.50 hacks should have their own "latest hacks" section instead of them being mixed with 3.07?

That is a good idea actually...

the latest hack has had always the mix up.
when you release a vb2 hack, it will appear there as well :)

a hottest hacks section for 3.5 will appear, but not during the beta stage :)

This is getting confusing. Specially except for developpers, I don't think anyone is crazy enough to install that beta version on a live board.

I've seen many boards already running the Beta version.

well vb run it on a live board with many users and its not died on them yet and its unlikely to die has vb dont put code out to its at a point where theres only some little bugs left to iron out.

personaly im just running a test forum, my main forums are still running 3.0.7 and 3.0.6 has im running a gallery off them thats a big part of my sites, so they not be getting updated to the gallerys been ported.

I am running it without any problems and I have been hacking the hell out of mine so far.

Not to pick on you personally, but that's the last thing you should be doing. It's already a beta where the point is to test the current code base for any problems. Unless you're adding exclusively plugin code (i.e., not touching the vBulletin code itself), it defeats the purpose of a beta program to modify your installation.

And as a side note nitpick, vBulletin versioning works in a major.minor.revision format, which means the current beta version is 3.5.0, not 3.50 which is entirely different (equates to 3.50.0).

@filburt1, i think that eXtremeTim is talking about hacking for a purpose... making plugins and hacks for this new version.. ;)

i myself started to hack vB 3.0 before it was released officially, to have the time to release something serious!
