Who is good with graphics and could make a logo?

Hey guys,

Trying to find somebody that is good with some graphics and could make a logo for me? Really its something pretty straight forward and probably wouldn't take one much time if they knew what they were doing. Could anyone volunteer for the task or know where I could get it done?

Only thing I need is a title with a couple words in it and a little swirl desgin that I have picked out. Would like to shape it up and make it look pretty good with some nice font and the color of yellow. If anyone could let me know where I could do this I would appreciate it. Need it for my forum on the top left. Thanks guys.

It's not a light-hearted thing to just throw together. There should be a great deal of thought a purpose behind every bit of text and every line contained in any logo. I have 15 years of professional design experience. If you're truly interested in a viable logo that will work today, tomorrow and 5 years from now rather than just a "picture of what I want" message me.

No offense bud, but 250 bucks is insane. I don't even think the company I work for would pay that much.. and they are not a small company.

I know a forum of ladies that does great graphic work (Banners buttons ect) no fee if your a member and they have time or a small donation is alway heplful,and I know a another fair priced graphics person (does skins and templates ect.) you could check them out if interested. As has been said, you get what you pay for. if you want your buddy that stole a copy of Photoshop to do it... feel free, no skin off my back. Hell, if your home needs a new roof, don't bother hiring a professional roofer, just go hire some homeless guys that have hammers. I'm sure they can at least get something done that resembles a roof. Need new brakes on your car? See if that 14 year old down the street has a wrench. Eventually you'll learn the value of a professional. Having a computer and a couple tools and being able to make a few pretty pictures in Photoshop does not make one a professional. There's a whole lot more that should go into the design process.

Anyway.... get it done for $5.00... I'm sure you'll love that product.

I use my friends Logo Creator Pro. for fast clean work and Macromedia Flash for action.

Some people have professional websites (business or a profit site), and want a logo designed for their company... Since their company probably (hopefully) makes profit, putting in money isn't as hard as it is for a smaller non-profit site...
