How much does a custom style cost?

I am looking to have a custom style built for me. Can anyone tell me what they run about? I have looked around and I don't like any of the "free" ones. I think I would need something to stand out a little more. Thanks

I don't know about cost, but I do know of a very new site that offers some custom style's for a price. CinVin (http://www.cinvin.com/?) has only been up maybe 2 weeks, but the staff are reputable. I have worked with the owner on my own forum a few times. He knows his stuff.

Some designers charge 100 while some charge upwords of 500+ All depends on what you want and how soon you want it. Then again, you can always purchase a premade style for 15-40 bucks, but are those really custom? I don't think so because hundreds of sites will have the same exact skin as your site would have. You should definetly have one designed soely for your site. It may cost a bit more, but its better than those ones that are sold out of a box.
