Tell me what you think. www.sccollectors.com/forums is the forums home. Just started building some new content pages.(idnd't like the old ones). An example of it can be found at www.sccollectors.com/index.php?page=trial Any help would be appreciated.

Its a little too plain. I would change the status icons to a sports related pic ( animated would be nice). Also either the forums are too stretched out or the header is too skinny. What would look cool is if you had a nice sports pic to use as a background.

dude, since it IS a sports related forum, the possibilities are endless.

You can get really creative with buttons icons, etc.

You should break your divisions into child forums so a member clicks on the division forum and it pulls up the team's forums instead of having them going in a list..... Too many forums to go through.

Check it out now. www.sccollectors.com/index.php?page=trial I have vba on it, I know that the image on the top is screwy cause I used imagemap. I am going to slice it later tonight, ran out of time, So what do you think I should do, add, and such? I am going to work on the pictures in the forum, not sure abou the child thing though, can someone explain it to me?

our members are pretty happy with it......and its a pretty standard format among specialized sports sites.

General sports sites are a different story

I am sure that it is but do you want to be like everyone else or bring something new to the table. Also think about a new member that hasnt visited these other sites and is not used to the format.... It was just too many forums to have on one page. You could click on one division and then it would drop down the teams (child forums) it would be really nice. The great thing also is that you could do this now with your forums and not lose any of your data as its just a structure change.

and thank you for the cool offer....might take you up on that

its a javascript navbar and the only way we (another admin...acually) could get it to work was to use an iframe in a category description
