Paypal subscription based forum

I need to set it up to accept paypal as subscription


with diffrent levels like people who pay for 1 month
6 month
or a year

any current hack out like this or if not
what kinda price am I looking at ?

This is already a part of vBulletin - Explore the Admin control panel under the "Subscriptions" heading...

You can setup usergroups, then alter forum permissions to only allow those usergroups to view them etc ;)

Hey - I have set up the IPN in paypal and in the admin section
think we could chat and help me figure it out ?

Basically you need vBulletin Options > Paid Subscriptions set to paypal with your paypal email address. Then go into Subscriptions > Test Communication and get a pass you should be good to go, it appears that you are from what you wrote.

Adding a subscription is easy and you can give a user as much access as you want. When adding the subscription you will see the Usergroups on the right side of the window, the user will be automatically added to the usergroup(s) you check, upon paying the subscription. Fill out the stuff on the left for a titile and all that and you are done.

How do I set it up so when they register they are taken to what membership they want to pay and as they pay it sets it up to there account

+1 TO that question. How do you configure the registration page to take you to the payment gateway?
