I would like to turn off the moderator cp, for the main reason that I believe it offers TOO much power to my super mods, especially in the way of IP tracking and viewing members profiles.... anyway, how do I disable the super mods ability to access it?
thanks for your help

Just edit the permissions for that group

lol, yea that is easy... but not what I wanted. I like my super mods, since they can mod any post in any forum without making all of them a mod for each forum separately ( since I have over 30 forums)... so I just put them in the super mod group... there is no option whether they can use the mod CP or not. so how do I disable it for super mods?
thanks for the quick reply :)

You actually need the mod cp.. even for Admins. Certain functions are handled in the modCP only.

ok, I figured out an easy fix.. I just password protected the folder.
I want to ensure no one has access to ips. So, other than admin/mods view of profiles that display IPs and the IPs displayed in each post, is there ANY WHERE else on the board that I missed that someone's IP may be viewed/accessed?
thanks

Just turn off the permission to view ip's.

and where do I do that?
prob is, I still want myself, admin, to be able to view the IPs... so my question is, did I cover all the areas where the ip will show to moderators, in each post, and in the profile view of the modcp?
thanks
