View Full Version : I got a new skin with the PSD, where do I upload the PSD?

I uploaded the skin but I have no idea where to put the PSD to make all my red x's go away

The PSD is the master file... the one you would open in a graphics program to edit and make changes.
If you bought this style, it should've come with a series of jpg, gif or png files. You would need to upload those instead.
Most come with directions but if not, you need to create a new images directory like forums/images_my_style/ and upload those files there.
In your admincp, create a new style and change the stylevars and the main css so the buttons and graphics and that point to your new directory rather than forums/images/.
Thats the gist of it anyway.

A PSD is a template... you need to do the work or hire someone to do the work to turn the PSD into a style.

I have photoshop, how do I hack the masterfile up? Its the only thing I got. No instructions or anything!
anyone wan to do this for me or teach me how?

Not without you learning photoshop well first. if you know photoshop then intergrating the PSD into the site shouldn't be hard at all, granted you know html.
