Hello

Got a Ex-Admin basically saying he's gonna hack my forum and ++++ it up. I have changed DB Pass, FTP Pass.

What else can i do to make it more secure ?

- Have staff change thier passes to just to be safe.
- Put up an htaccess on your admincp and modcp directories.
- Check to see who is listed as an admin or mod to see if there is anyone that doesnt belong.
- Check to see if there are any rogue files that might grant access to the DB or reinstate a user as an admin
- On the same note, you may want to check your files to see if there is any code snippets that dont below.

Obviously those last two are going the extra mile but you'll know if its worth it or not.

And ... lastly, make backups and download them from the server so you can restore if he does manage to do anything.

Drop an .htaccess file into your admincp directory. This will require an additional set of password/username and it is an non-vB dependent security.
