I have been looking for any one, or combination of systems that would allow me to manage my advertisers.
I have found great hacks that will allow adding images, but most advertising consolidators now require a script, either HTML, PHP or Javascript inserted - instead of just an image with a link.
I have found one that allows me to have a left or right column next to the messages. Excellent, except it seems to be incompatible with 3.0.7, nor does it allow real advertising rotation, or management.
So, is there a system out there that will do the following:
Allow multiple adds/advertisers by using a code snippet. (Some advertising consolidator will rotate the ads themselves, like Adsense, some will not, like LinkShare).
Allow multiple areas to advertise by location on page, and by page (i.e. header, footer, left side, right side. forum list, thread, next to message, etc. This is important because various advertisers have various TOS requirements)
Tracking of advertisement displays
Or are you up to writing it? I will even donate $$$ for the development.
