I know this feature from UBB, There I could see in the forumhome, the headline of the tread with the last Reply.
Means if u have a Forum called " Fanforum" then u can read under the forumname the name of the tread, and if u click this u will get directly to this tread.
I hope someone can help me in this case.
I think this hack was called "Last Post in forumdisplay" in UBB.
