I have a script (similar to a diary) I would like to integrate into my vB3 site for my users. However, I do not know how to integrate into the vB3 environment.
Are there any tutorials how to create/implement a module?
I need to execute PHP/MySQL code and tap into the user table.
Thanks in advance!

I'm still looking for some guidance here.
Simply, I'd like to have a Bowling Log for my bowlers. They would be able to input their bowling scores and track their progress/average.
Pretty simple, I would think. I can write the script, but I just need to intagrate into vB.
Your guidance is appreciated!

Well since obviously noone here wishes to help people anymore ill put in my two cents... include the global.php file and it gives you the integration with vb ive written an entire cms/chat site software integrated with vb using this method and it works well

Well I guess that is a start.
But, it seems like how-to write simple things for vB or developing custom hacks is now becoming a secretive thing. Just my .02$.

Integrating a script is NOT always a simple thing. It's not a cookie-cutter kind of project that somebody can tell you what to do, sight unseen.

I've had some success in my project. Mainly, just tapping into vB's userid field and grabbing the site template. Once I finish my project I'll try to summarize for the other little people who seem to be just as lost as me.

Hey Amy,
I never said anything was going to be cookie cutter, but it would be nice if there was sometype of help for the vB coding newbies and/or sometype of documentation to help figure out the templates/modules etc..
