how can i make redirect hits on my index

i got a lot of links to other websites on my forum
with a lot of - - - behind it
does anyone know how i can make it so it will show how many hits a link had
like redirects (21) or something like that

I realize this is a very old post but this is the only thread I have really found on the issue and was wondering if anyone had any insight to offer.

I am pretty sure I have seen this done on other sites. Is there a way to show the number of re-directed hits in vbull.
