How Do I Import my backed up database?

I'm running a vb2. I'd be thankful if someone could tell me the steps I need to take to import my database. I backed up my Mysql database and saved it to my pc. My website has database errors and I think importing my backed up database can fix it.

Somebody...anybody?

I tried to import the database using the website my site is hosted on. Powweb. The mysql isnt clear in giving an option to import a database.

You need SSH access or PhpMyadmin to import the database.

Or maybe try to upload it to your FTP, then email your host and see if they will restore it for you
