Need some help to troubleshoot

And so, the problem I'm having is that, for some reason in the Who's Online list, it shows alot of the people viewing domain.com/favicon.ico and some other people the online list works fine. I have no idea what that favicon.ico is, or where people even got linked to it. The file simply doesn't exist on the server. Any ideas?

edit: actually favicon.ico does exist lol, it's in my domain.com/forum/ folder, but why does it look in the root directory?

well now i know what it is, but how can i fix the problem? my who's online list is showing people with an unknown location that's trying to view the favicon.ico that's in another directory.

can anyone help? ><
