remove the collumns "# of threads, and # of posts"

Hi, how do i remove the collumns "# of threads, and # of posts" under each forum?

Also, can someone refer me a hack so that guests/ no logged in can only view a certain ammount of threads before having to register? After viewing x number of threads, they can only read the titles, but not the content. I think ive seen it before but cant find it!
