Hello, I was hoping you guys wouldn't mind sharing some of your brain power with me..lol

I have a few issues I am trying to work out and usually nobody will answer my questions on this site unless I ask in the paid service section... All I need is for someone to point me in the right direction .... I have spent all I can spend so I just need free info and advice right now if you can...

Here is a list of some of my problems and issues...

#1-- Page Width-- There is a slight scroll when being viewed at 1024 by 768.. it even gets worse when viewed at lesser resolutions... How can I make my site compatable with all resolutions???

#2-- This is basically the same type of problem.. When my site is viewed at higher resolutions the header does not go all the way accross the page...

#3-- I would like to have a module showing previews of recently posted articles on the VBA page.. I would prefer this somehow be done automatically but if that is not possible I would post them myself if you can give me an idea on how to do this..

#4-- I also want to do the same think with my links and downloads page.. I want to be able to list recent addiditions on the main VBA page..

Right now I think my VBA page is a real turn off to my users because it seems to be mainly news oriented. I already have an entire VBIndex page dedicated to news so I want to steer the VBA page away from this....

any help or advice would be so awesome....

Thanks...

1&2: You might want to try to set your table width's to 100 % (I dont know if you already do this, but it works for me).

3&4 Try posting at vbadvanced.com, they'll help you out.

Actually they have been great there and I have taken care of just about everything but the width problem....... The thing is that I had this problem all along even before installing vbadvanced... I think it has to do with the skin possibly. I would ask at the skin site but all they ever say is that we can't offer support for a modified skin ....

The widths are all set at 100 already. I also even tried making all the images smaller on the nav bar and header and that still didn't work... It is not a big problem really unless you are viewing the site at lass than what most consider ideal...

I appreciate the reply my friend.... Those are few and far between for me here unless I open my wallet..... then I get a flood of pms....

Thanks again,

Rich
