Welcome to the Sig Battle System [v0.7]. v=Version 0.7=It is 70% complete from beta testing.
What it does
This hack allows you to have better track of signature battles on your site. The hack doesn't have too many options yet, but will be added when it's completely done.
Features
So far I only have the permissions to edit the wins/losses via Admin panel and see the members Battle stats from the postbit_legacy template.
Whats to be expected
By the time I hit version 1, I am hoping to have voting options inside a new reply, an automatic close when the votes get to the votes needed to win, automatic added stats, and much more!

I do not take credit for this hack, the original hack was the -=Rap Battle System=- (by MindTrix) in which I edited to make this hack. Enjoy the beta version, there are no bugs.
Dont forget to click install if you try it!

just a fair warning to you that you are violating your agreement with jelsoft. you may have numerous test boards but others can not register nor can be publically accessible(behind a passworded directory).

Thanks for the warning, but the test board will only be up for a couple of days. I don't think they will shutdown my license....or is it possible?
EDIT: Oh, and the person signed up is a friend from school just testing it for me.

anyone care to explain what a signature battle is exactly?

Sure...
Well you make signatures using Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paintshop Pro and you battle another member from the forum. The better sig will obviously win.
You have to add the stats manually, which will hopefully be changed in the complete version.
EDIT: If anyone that knows PHP well could help me out, please send me a PM with your AIM/MSN attached.
It would be a good idea to ask for permission to release this hack to the original author of this hack (in this case MindTrix) just a suggestion...

Ok, someone makes a thread asking if anyone wants a battle. Someone replys to the thread saying they would like to battle. Once both members have their signature ready, they PM it to the person that makes the thread. The person who makes the thread will make a poll and display both signatures. Then other members from the forum will use the poll to vote and they can reply for comments. Once the person gets the number of votes needed to win the battle, the thread is supposed to be closed (must be closed manually at the moment). Then you go into the users profile via Admin panel and change their stats to +1 win and the loser gets a +1 loss.
I hope that goes more into depth for you.

I look forward to the finished version of the hack.
I think it would be best to modify this to include the Sig of the Week Idea. This would be a more useful project and I'm sure many would just Loooooove it!!!

This does not work on 3.5.x as it is a release for 3.0.x which uses a completely different style of code.
