Thanks for sharing your work Bolas.

In the karma.hack.txt file you mention 3 files to be edited, but you forgot to name the init.php. At point 6 (ftp upload) you also don't mention the init.php.

I had a quick look at the code and it looks nice coded. You might haave choosen to put the function newKarma in se seperate include file.

This hack give karma only on the replies of threads marked with X karma.
Mmh.. I don't understand your question (I got problem with some english phrases construction).. please can you repeat it in other words? :)

This may be what I am looking for. :)

I was looking for a way to enter a thread ID in admin CP and then anybody that posts on the thread gets karma or rep power.

Need to take a closer look.

Whis won't add a threadid in admincp,
when you modify via-javascript and on-the-fly the karma power of a thread, to save it you have to click.. save! :)
Then the script call karma.php that add the threadid to datastore and then redirect back to the last viewing page.

Okay this hack adds karma to 'threads'. It would be better if you could add karma to 'members' as well for doing a good job on the forums. Could you please add this kind of feature to the hack? Much appreciated.
