Moveable Type Integration

It seems after looking around that the best way to blog is with software specifically for it.

However, vBulletin is *bar far* the best BB software - no question.

Moveable Type is totally easy and extensible. Why don't we set up an integration between the two so they share the same database?

I think that would be the IDEAL combination of community and blog software. It would blow away anything else out there.

Plus, it would sure bring a lot of MT users over to vBulletin.

I would love to be able to independently move around my forum and "flag" threads that should copied over to a moveable type blog. Only the first post in that thread would viewable in the blog (put in appropriate categories of course) and if the reader clicked on comments he would then be moved to a forum environment.

What does this do? This gives you the best of both blogging and forum worlds. Any member in the community could participate in the blog, but a reader could simply check out the blog for all the best content if they didn't want to wade around in the forum...

I can't believe no one has done this yet! I would certainly pay good money to have the capabilities...

And one could make it so a partial post that shows up in your blog could carry on in a thread on your vb.

Any of you geniuses out there want to take a stab?
