View Full Version : vB Quiz (vb3) Guest Message + Min Posts Requirement Hack

This is an add-on to TWT Commish's (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=422) Quiz Hack for vB3 (which is actually a retail modification).

This hack means that guests see a small message when they browse the quiz home that will make them wanna join, it will also once they've joined that is, make sure they go and post instead of just trying to leech your quizzes and leave :)

This hack could've been a mini-mod or add-on but given the retail status of the Quiz hack i was unsure as to where this belonged so i went with Misc hacks.

This hack could've also been very complicated but i choose to just not bother with over compliacating such simplicity.

Not to my knowledge. Really, I don't know how well that'd work, anyway, since most sites are on different topics anyway. They're not that hard to make, though, what with all the public domain content lying around. :)

looking at the link in the first post it seems it was created for vB2

are there much changes towards vB3.07 , please ??

I just purchased this hack from TWT and let me start by saying, Perfect!

Now I was just wondering if there are any other addons? (I would like to suggest an import/export function.)

Installing this one tonight.

Okay, I PM'd sabre, so as not to look too stoopid, but he didn't respond.

So, the first setp is to add a Setting. For the life of me I can't figure that one out. Help?
