Delete Unread PM?s

I am looking for a hack that will allow users to delete and/or edit a PM that has not yet been read by the recipient. When in Track Messages, and you see the PM has not yet been read, using the delete function only removes it from your unconfirmed message but NOT the recipients InBox. I am using VB 3.07.

I installed a hack in my PHP/BB to do this, but I haven’t seen one here. Maybe I’m just blind though.

bump! i like the sound of this hack.

my site has 252 unread PM's at this moment... mostly users that never came back.

I would think it wud be a good idea to have a hack that either deletes unread PM in inboxes... with admin filtering out the time it was sent "before this day"

Do a search here, i think (but still not awake) that something like this have been released in the past few weeks.

I did various searches here Marco but could find nothing. I am not a hacker or coder but it seems to my simple mind that it would be pretty easy to add a small hack that would delete (when checked of course) an unread PM in “track messages” from both the senders “unconfirmed” messages (as it does now) and then just do the additional step of deleting it from the recipients inbox.
